Coffee and Conversation 10 31 17 RSPLAINFIELD— State Sen. Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant (D-Shorewood) is hosting a Coffee and Conversation in Plainfield this month.

Plainfield Coffee and conversation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31 at the Plainfield Village Hall (24401 W. Lockport St, Plainfield, IL).

Halloween treats for children who attend.

Bertino-Tarrant hopes area residents will take advantage of the casual environment to discuss questions and concerns on important legislative matters before the General Assembly’s second week of veto session.

Bertino-Tarrant expects the General Assembly to reconsider the governor’s veto of the Debt Transparency Act, bipartisan legislation that provides taxpayers with more information about state finances among other important legislative matters.

“The General Assembly will have a wide variety of legislation to consider during veto session,” Bertino-Tarrant said. “Coffees and Conversations offer area residents an opportunity to discuss crucial legislative matters in a friendly environment. Connecting with constituents helps me better represent our district.”

If you have additional questions regarding coffee and conversation, please contact Senator Bertino-Tarrant’s district office at (815) 254-4211.
