Warning Signs of Drug Use SeminarPLAINFIELD— State Sen. Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant (D-Shorewood) will be hosting a Warning Signs of Drug Use Seminar for parents and satellite office hours for constituent services.

The Warning Signs of Drug Use Seminar will be held from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at Drauden Point Middle School, 1911 Drauden Road, Plainfield.

Dr. Aaron Weiner, Director of Addiction Services at Linden Oaks Behavioral Health, will be presenting on the warning signs of drug use. Attendees can ask questions after the presentation concludes.

“This event will provide parents with information about substance abuse issues and how they can recognize if their children may be using drugs,” Bertino-Tarrant said.

Bertino-Tarrant will also host satellite office hours from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22 at Romeoville Village Hall, 1050 W. Romeo Road.

Attendees can receive help from Bertino-Tarrant’s staff with FOID card applications, food stamp issuance, health care, veteran or disability issues, Medicare paperwork, foreclosure prevention assistance and much more.
